Why the academy exists
The hardest security risk faced by every organisation is the insider threat. Some insiders take part in malicious activity; others unwillingly and unknowingly help an external intruder attack the organisation. The users, therefore, are the weakest link in the information security chain.
The cure for the unwilling helper, and the way to empower a good security team to curb internal and external threats, is excellent and up-to-date information security training that is quite different from what is available in the open market. Our cyber-security experts, in partnership with our international partners, have crafted a collection of essential topics that non-IT users must learn in order to stay safe while using IT resources.
These topics address the emerging cyber-attack threats and the corresponding countermeasures exhaustively, and form part of the cyber-security common body of knowledge, so that all users are on a par with the criminals targeting them.
Information security training is for everyone. Absolute protection can only be achieved when everybody recognises their own security and protection responsibilities, and lives up to them.
